JunkFest {Recap}

By September 9, 2013Events

Maria, What did you sell at Junk Fest?

SELL?!  WE WERE SUPPOSED TO SELL STUFF?

That concept was lost on Katie and I.

We saw the sparkling lights of the JunkFest Big Barn and were pulled like a mosquito to one of those blue zappy things.

ZAP!

Zappity! Zap! Zap!

Lights on strings makes me all tingly!

Sort of like Channing Tatum…but in very different places.

Too much?  Please forgive me…I’m low on sleep and full on caffeine.

We walked around and fell in Love over items and Lust over others.

The first phase of Love was for this beauty.

Doesn’t he look strong and muscular? But just like the captain of the football team he rolled right out of the barn on the arm of another cheerleader.

Story of MY life.

But then…I saw THIS!

And everything was Ok!

DO YOU SEE ALL THOSE CUTE LITTLE CUBBIES!!  OH MY GOSH!

What are you going to do with it Maria?

I’m so glad you asked!  This will be the display for our new knobs and pulls that we will get in the store this fall.

KNOBS?!!!  Yes Knobs…you can breathe now.

We did do a little selling while we were there.

Look at how cute the booth is. That Katie sure knows how to make things pretty.

We shared the booth with Kustom Creations and this was one of the items they sold.  I LOVED IT!

But the idea was to come home with the trailer empty…and along with our new little cubby and the dining room table, side table and chandelier that Ms. Katie bought. Yes, Bought.  We didn’t have room.

JunkFest was a success, we had A LOT of fun!  We sold a TON of Chalk Paint® and met so many incredible people.

Thank you to Cassie, Lynette and Missy for putting together such a remarkable show and letting us be a part of it.

You girls are AMAZING.

xo,

Maria
